Titan Interactive is a leading digital marketing company specialising in website design, SEO, mobile websites, Cloud services and online video commercials.

Titan Video, a division of Titan interactive requires a person to fulfill the role as a producer of online video commercials for our clients (mainly SMEs) to work with our highly experienced Video Production Manager.

The successful applicant will be expected to produce a consistently high level of quality while working within the limitations of creating commercials as a single-person filmmaker.

On each project they will be responsible for all location camerawork (usually at our client’s business locations around Perth) and editing, delivering a Titan-scripted web commercial from start to finish.

The production team member will also be responsible for stills photography and be able to fulfill this dual function when shooting on location.

Experience in employing DSLR cameras for video and stills acquisition is therefore essential. The team member will need to be able to work independently with minimal supervision and be able to communicate effectively with clients on-location as to the content of the video.

You will require a high-level of proficiency in the Adobe CS5 suite, with a particular focus on Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop. Skills with colour grading and motion graphics are vital. For stills work, experience in working with camera RAW format is important.

All applicants will need to produce an online portfolio of work, demonstrating their level of craft.

Titan produces websites and online video commercials for a huge range of clients and the position offers the opportunity to produce a wide variety of commercial work in both the fields of video production and photography.

Minimum qualification for photographic position such as a Diploma in Photography or equivalent is required. Proof of sales experience must be shown and relevant retouching samples will need to be supplied at the time of application. Own car and current driver’s license is recommended.

If you can single-handedly drive a production switcher and demonstrate creative flair in a live television environment then you could be the person we want to fill our vacancy as a Studio Director. You will need comprehensive experience in a live studio and control room environment integrating cameras, graphics and segment inserts. You will need endurance and be able to provide clear direction to all your behind-the-scenes team and your on-air team as well as being able to take direction from a diversity of Producers in an often strict format and following structured deadlines. An ability to operate robotics cameras would be a huge advantage.
In order to produce 12 hours of live daily production TVSN operates a 2 crew 3 day rotating roster.

JAWS !


1. Where did the idea for Jaws originate? How did it become a film? Who contributed to the screenplay?
The idea orginated from a fisherman off Long Island that caught a 4,550 pound shark. The movie cane to be when David brown and Dick Zanuck heard or saw the book. Brown heard about the book from a small card the fiction department.
2. Why were particular scenes removed from the film? Some scenes were removed due to the scenes being too violent for viewers.
3. During the pre-production stage what sort of footage did the producers commission in preparation for the film? How was the script changed as a result of this footage?Short paragraphs were changed to speeches.4. What was involved during the casting process? Spielberg net Roy Schieder @ a party. Speilberg's two choices for Quint  had rejected him and Spielberg saw lorraine's work and really wanted her to star in the movie and play Schieder's wife Ellen
5. What is location scouting? Why did Steven Spielberg choose the locations for the film? The producers were sent out to take photo's of a small town that they thought were right for the movie. They found Martha's vineyard, a little town that was perfect for the movie but the problem was that they did not allow cameras in their town.
6. Describe how actors contributed to the production of Jaws. Making a scene
7. What does a composer do? What considerations were taken into account when writing the music for Jaws? The music represents the shark. So when your watching the movie and you hear the music then everyone knows that its the shark.
8. What did Spielberg do as a result of test screenings? The first screen test was shot in a Dallas shopping centre. They were all very nervous because they thought that the shark would get laughed at because they knew that the shark wasn't real.
9. What is a director of photography? How was the director of photography involved in the production of Jaws? The Director of Photography is the person in the crew that is responsible for lighting and camera on set of the movie.
10. What does an editor do? Who was the editor on Jaws and what was her responsibility? The editor on the set of the movie was Verna Fields. Her job was to cut the film to make it fit in together.
11. Based on the documentary, what are the responsibilities of a producer? The producer has to make the film a film that would sell and get high ratings. The producer also is the one with all the money. They also have to help Spielberg in completing the film
12. What does the producer do once principal photography has finished? They have to finish the film and fix any problems in the finished piece
